Requirements

Candidates should possess previous experience in Estimating, knowledge of Bluebeam, the ability to read specifications and drawings, and a post-secondary education in a Construction program such as Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering. Strong communication skills, general building envelope knowledge, sales skills, and a background in Building Science are also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Estimator will complete takeoffs/estimates for assigned projects, follow up on multi-scope or single-scope projects, attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings, complete work orders, and prepare material order sheets. They will also contribute to the overall success of the Winnipeg Branch by supporting projects and adhering to Flynn’s values and culture.
