Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in commissioning, preferably within the energy sector, specifically related to energy storage systems (ESS). Strong leadership and project management skills are essential, as is a thorough understanding of electrical systems, safety regulations, and commissioning processes.
The ESS Commissioning Manager will oversee all aspects of ESS plant commissioning, including interconnection, site work, safety, startup, and project closeout, managing EPC ESS activities related to construction coordination, commissioning, startup, sync, testing, and the commencement of commercial operations. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, collaborating with various teams such as solar and energy storage development, financing, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and operations, maintenance, and asset management.
