Requirements
- Experience: Extensive senior-level experience collaborating with utilities.
- Technical Acumen: Deep technical understanding of power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, stability, and transient analyses.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Proven history of successfully managing complex interconnection projects within regulatory frameworks (ERCOT).
- Relationship Building: Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior-level individuals.
- Strategic Capabilities: Demonstrated strategic capabilities in interconnection planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate Utility Partnerships: Forge and maintain robust, senior-level relationships with key individuals at ERCOT and other relevant utilities.
- Drive Interconnection Strategy and Execution: Lead the development and execution of Crusoe’s interconnection strategy, identifying optimal locations for load interconnection within the ERCOT grid and other utility systems.
- Orchestrate Interconnection Processes: Expertly manage the complete interconnection application lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments to final energization.
- Negotiate Interconnection Agreements: Direct and oversee the meticulous preparation, thorough review, and effective negotiation of critical interconnection agreements.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate effectively with internal engineering teams, external consultants, and utility partners.
