Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Licenciado degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Geography, or Social Sciences. They must have at least 5 years of experience in environmental management, specifically in environmental licensing (EIAs) and community relations, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role related to transmission electrical projects of 138 kV or higher in Peru.

Responsibilities

The Environmental Specialist will technically review deliverables from contracted consultants in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), identifying inconsistencies and ensuring alignment with regulations and Acciona's interests. They will advise the project team on key environmental matters, proposing improvements and corrections to impact assessment criteria and mitigation plans. The specialist will verify the EIA's technical sustainability and regulatory soundness, prepare technical reports with observations and recommendations, participate in technical meetings with the client and consultant, and support the preparation of supplementary documentation and internal presentations regarding the environmental component of the project.
