Requirements

Professional in Petroleum Engineering and/or Chemical Engineering
7 to 9 years of specific and proven experience in the preparation and maintenance of fluids, associated laboratory tests
Experience in technical analysis and specific recommendations on products and practices to control fluid properties
Experience in maintaining inventory at client wells
Mandatory "Escuela Lodos" (Mud School)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Advanced level of English
Expert knowledge of the product line and compliance with competency requirements described in the profile

Responsibilities

Provide on-site services measuring, testing, and supervising the mixing and pumping of fluids, including technical analysis and specific recommendations on products and practices to control fluid properties
Maintain fluid properties on drilling platforms through precise testing
Maintain inventory at client wells
Provide effective customer service, facilitating information to clients and drilling platform coordinators on progress and creating/applying solutions to arising problems
Perform on-site and field office commercial visits or accompany the sales representative performing the same function
Perform other related tasks as necessary
Provide ongoing support to help operations deliver the most effective and environmentally safe drilling fluids to clients, optimizing the well construction process and maximizing client production
Comply with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and core values
Follow up on internal processes and assigned client processes in different operations
Communicate with various clients and demonstrate strong customer service skills
Adapt quickly to changes in job assignments/requirements
