Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting and one of the relevant professional qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA or equivalent (could be still in progress)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within an international corporate company in internal controls, external or internal audit and/or risk management
  • Fluent in English (minimum C1)
  • Excellent communication

Responsibilities

  • Driving alignment between the ESG Controllership team and other functions involved in ESG reporting
  • Executing the Annual Risk & Control Testing Plans, including communicating significant issues and areas of exposure to Function Leads and Global Sustainability team
  • Performing end-to-end process risk assessments and control deficiencies analysis to identify high areas of exposure, support in root cause analysis and investigation, review and align with the process owners on remediation plans and actions to reduce risks or resolve deficiencies
  • Providing recommendations and trainings related to data quality and evidence expectations
  • Ensuring new and/or amended ESG reporting requirements are understood and impact assessed against Haleon’s existing reporting, including coordinating with the business and the Global Risk & Control Owner to identify whether changes would be required to existing Basis of Preparations, ensure the business understands and makes applicable changes or creates new Basis of Preparation as required, and ensure that any changes to the reporting process are understood and risk assessed
  • Reviewing initial drivers for change analysis over key ESG metrics
  • Being the Single Point of Contact for the management and coordination of the internal audit and external assurance of ESG metrics and underlying data and evidence
