Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an Escrow Officer or Assistant Escrow Officer, and a Notary Public license as required by the state. Strong customer service skills with experience engaging with diverse homebuyer demographics are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with OneNote and SoftPro is preferred.
The Escrow Officer will handle all aspects of settlement transactions, including preparing and approving Settlement Statements, coordinating deeds, verifying loan and insurance documentation, and facilitating communication between all parties involved in real estate transactions. They will also follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines, review quality assurance reports, resolve post-closing issues, and ensure adherence to workflow processes, while demonstrating proactive initiative and effective collaboration skills.
