Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety; Chemistry; Biochemistry, or another related field of study, or equivalent experience, graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software
Capability to use diverse resources, respond quickly, understand the impact of changes and decisions, facilitate agreement, and build collaborative relationships
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage various tasks effectively
Knowledge of chemical safety is a plus

Responsibilities

Actively participate in Tier meetings to discuss safety and environmental matters
Review entries into the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management system and update records accordingly
Coordinate contractor activities to ensure compliance with EHS standards
Assist with all aspects of waste processing and management
Participate in investigations to determine the cause of incidents and successfully implement corrective actions
Deliver tailored aid to the EHS department for the supervision of Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and operations, maintaining conformity with safety guidelines and environmental legislation
