Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety; Chemistry; Biochemistry, or another related field of study, or equivalent experience, graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based software
  • Capability to use diverse resources, respond quickly, understand the impact of changes and decisions, facilitate agreement, and build collaborative relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage various tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of chemical safety is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in Tier meetings to discuss safety and environmental matters
  • Review entries into the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management system and update records accordingly
  • Coordinate contractor activities to ensure compliance with EHS standards
  • Assist with all aspects of waste processing and management
  • Participate in investigations to determine the cause of incidents and successfully implement corrective actions
  • Deliver tailored aid to the EHS department for the supervision of Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and operations, maintaining conformity with safety guidelines and environmental legislation
