BSc/MSc in Milieu-educatie (Environmental Engineering/Sciences), preferably Green Belt certified
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the process or food industry

Responsibilities

Provide direction to the company's strategy on energy and environment
Develop and implement policy proposals based on social developments and legislation
Advise the management team on the impact of policies and annual plans
Initiate, guide, and possibly execute internal and external audits
Develop and manage an accessible (certified) management system
Ensure up-to-date documents and data for management
Identify training needs within the organization
Propose and execute training plans in consultation with stakeholders
Independently initiate, manage, and execute projects
Identify and analyze (potential) risks
Advise on and propose improvement measures to reduce identified risks
Report analysis results and advise on solutions to limit risks
Translate the policy annual plan and monitor/manage associated budgets
Responsible for implementation and evaluation after approval by the management team
Apply for permits under the Environmental Law (Omgevingswet)
Negotiate with governments on the interpretation of applicable legislation
Externally represent Abbott's business interests at local and regional levels
Prepare and oversee accurate reporting to various governments and internally
