Requirements

Must be in student status working towards a degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or related environmental field from an accredited college or university
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 required (3.0 or higher preferred)

Responsibilities

Assist department personnel in providing technical support and ownership of environmental programs including NPDES, SPCC, greenhouse gas emissions, waste disposal, remediation, recycling and environmental training and communication
Assist department personnel in performing inspections related to environmental compliance
Assist in the environmental permitting process
Assist writing environmental reports and analyses
Learn applicable environmental regulations and requirements
Other developmental projects as assigned
