Requirements

3rd or Final Year undergraduate degree student from a recognized University (locally or overseas)
Educational background in Engineering / Science / Environmental, Health & Safety
Enthusiasm in working in area of EHS
Effective written, oral and presentation skills (English language required)
Ability to work independently and present ideas convincingly
Problem solving, proactive / analytical thinking and computer skills
Available for attachment period of more than 6 months (preferred)

Responsibilities

Undertake mini projects as part of larger EHS projects or Maturity Model / Initiatives, including assisting with L1 workplace inspections, identifying hazards from machinery/equipment, plants, materials/substances, processes or manual activities, documenting risk assessments with area owners, exploring suitable control measures (adopting hierarchical control), and educating those at risk on consequences and controls
Support EHS campaigns (e.g. EHS One, Stop for Safety, EHS Week) and provide clarity of programmes to all levels of staff
Support the preparation and execution of key EHS governance meetings
Assist in creation or revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to EHS, Environmental Sustainability and Security
File and index all reports, records, change control, minutes of meeting, training slide packs, testing results in hardcopy and/or softcopy formats for retrievability
File and compile records of employees pertaining to health assessment, job assessment, audiometric assessment etc
Assist in day-to-day planning, organizing and implementing all matters concerning environment, health and safety (EHS) in accordance with local EHS legislations, Haleon Global EHS policies and standards, and Haleon Global Engineering Standards
