Requirements

Candidates should have experience in a security or IT administration role with a focus on enterprise security and proven knowledge of securing corporate IT environments, including endpoint security, identity and access management (IAM), and SaaS security. Hands-on experience administering and securing enterprise-level platforms like Google Workspace or O365 is required, along with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to operate independently in a startup environment, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and regulations such as SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001 is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include relevant industry or cloud security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP), experience with scripting and automation, experience protecting and managing macOS workstations, and experience deploying and managing endpoint security solutions.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Security Engineer will implement and manage security controls for corporate systems, applications, and information assets. This includes designing and maintaining secure configurations for employee endpoints, enforcing security best practices, and administering corporate user accounts and identities with proper permissions and access controls. The role also involves developing and implementing IT security policies, procedures, and runbooks, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, monitoring systems for security threats, responding to alerts, investigating security incidents, conducting post-incident analysis, and automating security-related tasks for efficiency and scalability.
