  • Ability to partner with Sourcing colleagues on RFP development and negotiations
  • Skills in acting as key point of contact for escalated contract issues and disputes

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize IT and Non-IT deals and contractual documents for non-merchandise goods and services
  • Lead and/or represent Enterprise Procurement on project teams for enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, savings initiatives, policy enforcement, supplier diversity, and M&A supplier integration
  • Draft, prepare, and review contract documents to minimize exposure and maximize benefits
  • Negotiate all key terms of various contract documents for risk mitigation and enterprise value
  • Analyze contracts to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Perform special projects as assigned by management
  • Implement change and lead projects by managing Contract Analysts for high-visibility engagements
  • Communicate required terms and conditions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to draft, negotiate, and document scopes of work, SLAs, financial incentives, etc
  • Interact with CVS subject matter experts to reflect policies in contracts and vendor communications
  • Partner with Sourcing on RFPs, provide contractual documentation, answer legal questions, and highlight issues for award decisions
  • Serve as key point of contact between Legal, Finance, Senior Leadership, business teams, and vendors for escalated contract issues and disputes
