Requirements

Experience of creating and implementing data strategies that align with business objectives
Extensive experience in architecting and implementing enterprise data warehouse, Master Data Management, data integration, BI

Responsibilities

Set the strategy for data architecture to support the Business and IT strategies and maintaining the data architecture principles
Develop relationships within the lines of business becoming a trusted partner demonstrating the value of data architecture being part of the development cycle including considerations for use in analytics and AI downstream
Define target, transition data architectures and roadmap to realise our future state data architecture
Create the data architecture documents and templates for change initiatives and supporting solution architects to complete
Build a framework of principles to ensure data integrity across the business
Lead data architecture forums and provide subject matter expert input to architecture decisions
Document the detailed holistic physical data architecture for both current and target state
Manage holistic roadmap of architecture change initiatives across Global Payments, coordinating requirements across different initiatives
Provide technical expertise for change initiatives, working with engineering teams and business product owners
Define frameworks for decentralized data product ownership across business domains
Align the data architecture strategy to AI/ML enablement—model observability, feature stores, and ethical AI guardrails
Be a key stakeholder and advisor in all strategic data initiatives and ensure alignment to the enterprise wide data strategy
Build and maintain appropriate Enterprise Architecture artifacts
Provide technical oversight to Engineers in creating business driven solutions adhering to the enterprise architecture and data governance standards
Be an advocate of data security principles and ensure appropriate security and compliance practices are embedded in any data strategy
Develop key performance measures for data integration and quality
Evaluate and recommend enterprise data technologies, platforms, and solutions to enhance our data capabilities
Support digital transformation efforts by identifying and promoting emerging technologies that drive business value
Support M&A technology integration efforts by assessing acquired data architectures and recommending alignment strategies
