Requirements

  • 6+ years of field sales experience in the SaaS industry
  • Experience in building relationships with new customers, managing them, developing them, and closing contracts (preferred: software sales experience in the automotive industry)
  • Experience in creatively prospecting leads and strategically developing new business
  • Ability to independently create account plans and sales strategies
  • Experience in accurately identifying customer challenges, value selling appropriate solutions, and their expected effects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to directly approach executive levels and build long-term relationships
  • Passion for data technology, with insight to proactively study the industry and catch the latest trends
  • Ability to involve the right people internally and externally to achieve bigger and faster results
  • Ability to collaborate well with various departments with a "One Team" mindset that supports each other
  • Business-level English skills (welcome)

Responsibilities

  • Become a Snowflake product expert and conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospects
  • Understand customers' existing and future IT roadmaps to become a trusted advisor and promote Snowflake solutions in the market
  • Qualify prospects, acquire new customers, and continuously expand existing customers
  • Capture sales opportunities in assigned accounts, and drive adoption, expansion, and deepening
  • Use target prospect lists and account plans to develop sales strategies, and achieve sales targets for assigned accounts/territory on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Build close relationships and trust with CxO, IT executives, LOB executives, and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, and partners
