Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically with companies exceeding 1,000 employees, and a proven track record of successfully closing complex deals within SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments. They should have demonstrated success in selling to large enterprises, particularly to senior-level executives and across multiple departments, along with strong consultative selling skills and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to target enterprise customers, owning the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, identifying customer pain points and aligning solutions, building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, leading account planning efforts, monitoring sales activities, staying updated on industry trends, and contributing to business growth initiatives by providing feedback to product and marketing teams. They will also represent Kong professionally at industry events and conferences.
