Requirements

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
Cold Room/Freezers -22 degrees experience
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Experience with planned maintenance schedules
Ability to identify preventative maintenance needs
Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ability to manage own time and deliverables
Training and development mindset
Flexibility to work shift, core, nights, and weekends

Responsibilities

Continuously improve packaging, serialization, commercial equipment, and packaging operations
Evaluate and analyze current process metrics and performance to identify areas for improvement
Analyze and find opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities, and optimize process performance
Work with various teams to reduce process and business variations
Create/amend procedures to meet new/changed requirements
Follow planned maintenance schedules in accordance with equipment and regulatory requirements within the PPM schedule
Identify preventative maintenance needs and address them
Discuss problems with team members, team leader, and agree on a course of action
Ensure detailed handovers occur and participate in meetings, providing constructive input
Actively partake in training and other work to ensure continuing technical and personal development to meet business needs
Train and guide resources as needed
Manage and complete assigned work
Work on double day shift, with flexibility to cover core, nights, and weekends as needed
Deliver projects as a project manager or project engineer
Participate in new equipment installation, development, and improvement, and assist in associated validation work
Liaise with internal customers and machine suppliers to resolve machine problems and request/initiate supplier visits if required
Ensure health & safety procedures are followed (near miss accidents, risk assessments)
