  • 10-12 years’ experience in new product development, showcasing a track record of spearheading innovation and introducing new products to the market
  • Proficient in competitive benchmarking and characterization testing, with an emphasis on spotting opportunities for improvement and differentiation
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, adept at working well with diverse teams to achieve results

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and foster a varied pipeline of innovative projects for Baxter’s IV Solutions and Containers Platform, capable of driving substantial growth
  • Carry out detailed competitive benchmarking and characterization testing, with a concentration on discovering opportunities for improvement and distinctiveness
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement research and pre-product development strategies that foster growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with external partners to stay updated on technology trends and developments, and find chances for strategic partnerships
  • Offer strategic direction and mentorship to the R&D team, emphasizing growth and innovation, while positioning Baxter as an industry frontrunner
  • Collaborate closely with the New Product Development, Marketing, and Business Development teams
  • Develop, effectively communicate, and deploy the strategy for the team that aligns with the overall strategic plan
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to guarantee synchronization of technology and product roadmaps with Baxter’s strategic plan
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external collaborators, including regulatory bodies
  • Foster a collaborative work environment with strong working relationships within and across teams, functions, and with strategic external partners
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant Quality System Regulations and other regulatory requirements related to research and development
  • Ensure the team is passionate about driving growth and innovation, emphasizing results that bring value and position Baxter as an industry leader
