Requirements

Master’s degree or bachelor's degree in Engineering with relevant years of experience
15+ years of experience in the Automotive Domain specifically in EV
Good understanding and expertise in EV Charging and V2G Communication stack
Expertise in AutoSAR Architecture
Product Development Process knowledge and experience
Proficiency in technical reporting and summary
Ability to work in a virtual team environment
Ability to network & collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization
Team oriented and self-driven
Planning / organizing skills
Customer contact experience
Honesty in relation with company, clients

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute Design Reviews & Peer Reviews and ensure completeness of the Design Review workbook in compliance with PDP process
Manage the Technical Risk Register: Identify risks, project scope changes, evaluate, rate, action plans, change points and manage contingency plans
Assure engineering competencies consider design for manufacturability (DFA, DFM)
Approve Start/Stop/Change/Signoff of engineering activity on project/component level work packages
Evaluate and manage internal and customer technical (product) change requests, including technical change estimation (effort/timing/cost) and present PCE impact, following the PCE Process
Responsible and owner for closure of PCRs and VIRs as requested along with the Customer Chief Engineer
Develop and maintain compliant Engineering deliverables timing (HW (ME/EE), Validation, SW, Systems) in collaboration with Program Management
Monitor that engineering execution follows standard work and best practices, with work products complying with applicable organization policies and procedures
Own customer problem troubleshooting and drive corrective action
Coordinate and deliver the product solution hand-over to customer at milestones
Participate in Big Room Planning, Program Iteration (PI) Demo, Program Iteration (PI) Retro
Provide Engineering budget input for BBP cycle: Resource demand, Capital expense, material, credits
Own the collection, consolidation and agreement to Engineering spend against approved Engineering budget for assigned projects
Manage BOM cost and stretch and related technical topics
Work with competency leads and/or Engineering Program Leaders in identifying and fulfilling staffing assignments for engineering projects
Execute MCIP to target
Solve cross-competency issues within Engineering
Act as single point of contact to the PM organization for engineering project timing plan and execution of all engineering activities and deliverables by supervising Engineering project sub-teams
Collaborate with the Customer Chief Engineer and/or Engineering Program Leader to manage engineering deliverables on time, on cost and on quality levels with supporting documentation (V-SPL.2) through coordination of Resident Engineers
Act as primary interface to Customer for engineering deliverables, time plan and execution
