Requirements

Ability to coordinate, plan, and execute mold development projects across molding suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal sites
Rigor in synthesizing information from multiple sources and anticipating challenges with contingency plans
Strong communication skills to reach consensus between stakeholders
Experience managing one or more small-scale, developed, or mature programs with well-defined plans and delivery methodologies
Accountability for overall program process, performance, and customer satisfaction
Ability to provide input to establishing program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets
Capability to recommend new policies and procedures affecting program management
Potential budget accountability for one or more programs
Skills in detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation for difficult problems impacting multiple workstreams, departments, or specialties
Ability to modify program management processes to improve programs
Proficiency in communicating and leading meetings with internal/external customers and vendors, and conducting briefings to higher-level management

Responsibilities

Plans, directs, and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems
Develops, evaluates, implements, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products
Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies
Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, or products
Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release
Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended
Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development
Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Oversees area of responsibility, manages program/team performance, communicates project and operational developments
Plans, prioritizes, and/or directs the responsibilities of program team members to achieve goals through matrixed teams and/or vendors
