Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for growing BitGo’s Wallets business, by building the best Wallets system for Institutions
  • Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same
  • Provide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department
  • Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the team’s work
  • Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services
  • Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example
  • Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
  • Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks
  • Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client-first approach
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team
