Experience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager
Track record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent

Responsibilities

Be accountable for growing BitGo’s Wallets business, by building the best Wallets system for Institutions
Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same
Provide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department
Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the team’s work
Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services
Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example
Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks
Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client-first approach
Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team
