We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Content Team, responsible for building and maintaining systems for delivering product documentation and localized content to our console product. This role is within UI Framework Engineering, requiring a strong coding background and the ability to contribute to architectural discussions. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for workload management, team well-being, and professional growth, fostering an open and collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering track-record focusing on front-end development & technologies (JS/TS/CSS/HTML) and modern frameworks and approaches.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, and Ember.
  • Experience with Accessibility (a11y) best practices, tools, and techniques (e.g., keyboard navigation, screen readers, WCAG guidelines).
  • Experience with internationalization (i18n).
  • Good understanding of Cloud Technologies and end-to-end delivery of data-intensive SaaS products.
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Comfortable providing presentations and recommendations to stakeholder management.
  • Advocate for UX consistency, accessibility, and empathy for the end-user.
  • Experience mentoring & supporting people and teams with empathy & professionalism.
  • Experience working with Product Managers and UX Designers for requirement analysis and driving engineering teams to develop solution approaches and designs.
  • Experience planning, tracking, delivering, and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience in remote-first environments and global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers building front-end systems using UI frameworks, TypeScript packages, and web components.
  • Manage team workload, project resourcing & coordination in a fast-paced, highly distributed environment.
  • Support the well-being of team members, providing support & guidance focused on resourcing, progress, and soft skills.
  • Gather feedback from others, provide coaching, and collaborate with senior engineers to advance team member skill sets.
  • Build a team by leading and coordinating the recruitment process from initial contact to offer.
  • Maintain visibility into the product roadmap and share that information with other managers and team members.
  • Participate in team activities, such as roadmap planning, to prioritize projects based on human availability and business objectives.
