This is an onsite role based in the NYC HQ.
The Radar Protect team works with mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, React Native; React web dashboard; Node.js TypeScript APIs; Rust geospatial database (HorizonDB); MongoDB, S3/Athena, Redis, Airflow; and AWS Kubernetes on EKS with Terraform.
The team emphasizes shipping fast, talking to customers, in-person collaboration at NYC HQ, weekly planning and shipping, multi-stack engineering with a desire to learn, and values like 'Walk a mile' to understand customers and real-world location services.
The process starts with a call with the CTO, followed by technical Zoom calls including code screen, coding round, and system design. It concludes with an onsite final round at NYC HQ meeting a co-founder, non-engineering staff, and more team members to assess fit.
