Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated experience in software development
  • 4+ years of managing technical teams with experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Physics, Math) with coding experience
  • Proven track record of launching complex products/systems with experience successfully delivering complex software projects
  • Ability to attract top talent with experience in recruiting and hiring skilled engineers
  • Cross-functional collaboration with ability to work effectively with Product Management, Design, and other engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead engineering teams (10-15 engineers) by establishing and growing them
  • Attract and hire top engineering talent
  • Implement processes to scale the team and enhance productivity while maintaining agility
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership on architecture, design, code reviews, quality assurance, and incident management
  • Define long-term technical visions and goals for the team
  • Ensure enterprise-grade correctness, resiliency, availability, and scalability
  • Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to define product roadmaps
  • Drive execution toward clear objectives and measurable key results
  • Foster a strong culture of engineering excellence and customer focus
