Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience
- At least 3 years of experience leading and managing software delivery teams, with an excellent record of project delivery
- Demonstrated strength in people leadership; capable of building, inspiring, and retaining high-performing teams through feedback and ongoing development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical ideas clearly and effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and collaborating across time zones and cultures, leveraging asynchronous working practices where appropriate
- Strong stakeholder management skills—able to build trusted relationships with cross-functional partners including product, delivery, and leadership
- Experience building and managing software using cloud platforms and services (predominantly GCP, but highly value AWS or Azure)
- Strong technical foundation in software development, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering good practice
- Experience building and managing infrastructure as code at scale (using Terraform)
- The ability to observe, measure, and demonstrably improve outcomes for engineering teams through people, process, or tooling changes
- Other Skills Valued
- Exposure to containerisation and/or orchestration platforms like GKE
- Experience building and managing developer portals, code quality platforms, or other internal platform tooling for engineering customers

- Lead the new Platform Experience team responsible for owning internal services, tooling, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with other engineering leaders to understand points of friction with internal platforms and processes
- Deliver solutions that enhance the day-to-day developer experience whilst supporting Qoria’s strategic goals
- Lead a team of engineers and be responsible for their development and performance
- Manage and deliver the internal Platform roadmap
