Engineering manager with 5+ years of backend experience and 3+ years of people management
Depth in systems engineering or infrastructure (e.g., reliability engineering, cloud platforms like AWS/Terraform, distributed data architecture, or backend scaling)
Experience leading teams through complex technical projects, balancing speed, quality, and tech debt
Excellence in coaching, feedback, and career development
Strong inclusive collaboration skills, partnering well with other managers, product leads, and senior engineers
Pragmatic, accountable, and energized by full-stack challenges

Responsibilities

Drive speed and quality of delivery through helpful processes ensuring efficient software building and high product quality
Set technical quality standards for the codebase and ensure proper tech debt investments while progressing on product roadmaps
Support career development and hiring: expand, uplevel, and promote engineers equitably
Build engineering culture of shared success/failure, driving inclusion, equity, and continuous learning
Solve problems: help team through technical challenges, mentor, and uplevel problem-solving skills
Collaborate strategically with sales/success, engineering managers, leadership, and senior/staff engineers to support company goals and deliver impact
Lead the Green pod responsible for core backend systems and infrastructure, focusing on reliability, performance, and enablement initiatives
