Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. They should have over 8 years of experience in engineering design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong technical expertise in packaged systems for commercial and industrial applications is essential, along with proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks and project management tools. Familiarity with control panels, instrumentation, and system integration is required, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
The Engineering Manager will lead and manage the department’s quoting, design, and documentation processes for packaged systems. They will develop detailed engineering designs, ensuring all drawings and submittals meet project requirements and industry standards. The role involves overseeing the selection and integration of components, coordinating with internal teams and clients to meet application needs, and ensuring designs adhere to quality standards. Additionally, they will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, collaborate with manufacturing teams for seamless assembly, and develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
