Extensive experience in Decision Making and Critical Thinking, including differentiating assumptions, evaluating past decisions, assessing decision options, advising on data analysis, using effective decision-making approaches, and objectively analyzing assumptions
Extensive experience in Technical Excellence, including advising on assessment and provision of technical solutions to significant challenges

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and lead engineering staff and activities to ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and objectives
Manage all engineering activities related to ECS (Energy Control Systems) utilizing internal and partner resources
Focus on ESS (Energy Storage Systems) development and integration
Manage R&D budgeting
Serve as the primary engineering interface with the STLF on applicable projects
Lead a diverse, global team of engineers and project managers to develop, validate, and support products deployed globally
Manage engineering staff and activities with emphasis on organizational goals achievement, professional development, and continuous improvement
Monitor and continuously improve product and process performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables
Provide leadership to create and maintain processes used to design, develop, and manufacture components, systems, products, services, and technologies
Manage engineering product and manufacturing process or quality issues from concept through end of life-cycle
