Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Decision Making and Critical Thinking, including differentiating assumptions, evaluating past decisions, assessing decision options, advising on data analysis, using effective decision-making approaches, and objectively analyzing assumptions
  • Extensive experience in Technical Excellence, including advising on assessment and provision of technical solutions to significant challenges

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and lead engineering staff and activities to ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and objectives
  • Manage all engineering activities related to ECS (Energy Control Systems) utilizing internal and partner resources
  • Focus on ESS (Energy Storage Systems) development and integration
  • Manage R&D budgeting
  • Serve as the primary engineering interface with the STLF on applicable projects
  • Lead a diverse, global team of engineers and project managers to develop, validate, and support products deployed globally
  • Manage engineering staff and activities with emphasis on organizational goals achievement, professional development, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and continuously improve product and process performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables
  • Provide leadership to create and maintain processes used to design, develop, and manufacture components, systems, products, services, and technologies
  • Manage engineering product and manufacturing process or quality issues from concept through end of life-cycle
