We are scaling rapidly and seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager for our Public Investor Engineering team. This role requires a blend of people leadership and application architecture shaping. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience managing software engineers and 5+ years of experience with web & data technologies, including React/Javascript/Typescript, Python/Dash, and AWS.

As an Engineering Manager, you will own core aspects of our web application strategy. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers, research, plan, and implement best practices to deliver world-class customer experiences within our Investor Portal. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on deep technical challenges, enjoys debugging and designing, and can define a clear, forward-looking roadmap for software engineering projects.

Working Hours: Standard IST working hours are generally expected. However, 2-3 days per week will require joining meetings with US and LatAm teams, necessitating work hours between 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM IST. Flexibility is provided on other days to compensate for late work.

Location: This is a Remote opportunity, with potential to transition to a hybrid model in the future.

As Our Engineering Manager, You Will:

• Report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, who will provide extensive, hands-on training on cutting-edge web tools and techniques.
• Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing team through 1-on-1s, growth plans, and performance reviews.
• Begin with individual contributor (IC) work to understand the systems, then transition to managing a small team of Software Engineers post-ramp-up, with opportunities for team growth.
• Act as the team’s technical leader, reviewing pull requests, pair programming, and establishing engineering standards.
• Collaborate on architecting and evolving our application platform for scalability and reliability.
• Own the end-to-end execution of projects, including sprint planning and Product Manager collaboration.
