They must have at least two years of experience in a technical management role, along with familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Scala, Javascript/Typescript, VueJS, and AWS services, and knowledge of Agile methodologies. A technical mindset and understanding of complex systems design are also required, alongside a bias towards action and a solutions-oriented approach to work.
The Engineering Manager will manage a team of engineers to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of products or projects, overseeing project timelines, prioritizing tasks, and making decisions based on changing business priorities. They will coordinate with internal stakeholders, foster team evolution and member growth through 1:1s and performance evaluations, plan for future resource requirements, collaborate on hiring efforts, and participate in 24/7 on-call support.
