Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 12 years of overall experience, including at least 4 years in an Engineering Manager role. Proficiency in full-stack software development using server-side technologies such as Java, Spring MVC, RESTful APIs, microservices, multithreading, and low-latency API development is required, alongside familiarity with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, distributed caching (Redis, Memcache), and search technologies (Elasticsearch, Lucene). Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Gradle) is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As an Engineering Manager - Cloud Native, you will lead an engineering delivery team responsible for building and supporting cloud-native solutions within the CPQ and Order to Cash business areas, collaborating with an agile team to address challenges and contribute to Zoom’s growth. You will also be responsible for hiring and retaining top-class engineers through mentorship and career growth opportunities, while fostering a dynamic and customer-focused environment, and taking intelligent risks to improve work processes.
