Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering at Postman’s scale, advanced SQL skills, and proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python (preferred), JavaScript, or Golang. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud, along with a strong knowledge of data warehouse/data lake fundamentals, especially regarding performance and data governance, is required.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and building scalable data pipelines from internal and external sources to meet business needs, continually enhancing data architecture for performance, security, and maintainability through ETL pipelines, dbt transformations, reverse ETL flows, and BI tools optimization. They will collaborate with analysts and product teams to drive solutions and POC discussions, refine and implement data governance policies, and actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and problem-solving.
