Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Production Engineering, or Chemical Processing Engineering (preferred) or 3 years of practical experience
Proficient in PLC programming
High level of expertise and practical knowledge in various molding processes
Willing to work rotating shifts and support overtime on weekdays, weekends, Sundays, and public holidays

Responsibilities
Provide engineering support to manufacturing equipment and processes
Carry out preventative maintenance of production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair faulty production equipment
Improve and upgrade production equipment hardware and control (software)
Identify and rectify process problems for quality improvement/scrap reduction
Update and control equipment spare parts
Install and qualify new processes and equipment
Support new program/model start-up
Support production overtime on weekdays, weekends, Sundays, and public holidays
Minimize machine downtime, scrap raw materials/products
Maintain correct spare parts inventory and product quality
Communicate with production operators/supervisors and other support groups
