Requirements

Candidates must possess a University degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or a minimum of 7 years of equivalent work experience. A CCNA certification is required, with CCNP preferred, along with proven experience and success in SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VOIP, design, and implementation, particularly with Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki vendors and technologies. Experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiEMS is a plus, alongside working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer will ensure the stability and integrity of Simon’s data, voice, video, and wireless network services, making recommendations for technical solutions and partners. They will be responsible for the design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of various network disciplines, including data centers, cloud environments, SD-WAN, and security appliances. The role involves monitoring network performance, resolving issues, managing network security solutions, supporting customers and employees, evaluating new technologies, assisting with network architecture planning, documenting network infrastructure, and ensuring changes are implemented with minimal risk.
