Associate’s degree or demonstrated equivalent experience required
5+ years of experience in manufacturing is required
Must have at least basic ability to read, troubleshoot and edit PLC programs
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD 2000 or newer
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Ability to read and understand technical documents such as hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics
Ability to document and fabricate/machine components from sketch or supplied part
Project Management & Process Development
Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement)
Ability to stay focused on work and manage multiple projects timely
Ability to sit at a desk approximately 50% of the time
Responsibilities
Technical support for all manufacturing machines. Includes troubleshooting, repair, repair parts inventory, sourcing of parts and outside technical support
Documentation of machine repair schedules and parts (prints, lists, control files and reports)
Troubleshoot and write PLC programs
Research of equipment, parts, supplies and suppliers
Communicate effectively with internal customers and external vendors to ensure supplies are available so that production schedules and quality requirements are being met
Technical support for building equipment and systems
Design and documentation of parts, lists and systems
Recommend continuous improvement opportunities
Participate in continuous improvement projects related to the manufacturing process
Maintain proper documentation in compliance with TS-16949
