Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, electronic, or instrumentation engineering, along with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in DCS/PLC/SCADA development, specifically within a Pharma/Biotech environment. Strong experience with Siemens/Rockwell PLC platforms, including ISA 88 standards, is required, as well as knowledge of FDA regulations, particularly 21 CFR part 11, GMP, and GAMP systems. Familiarity with FAT, SAT, and UAT activities is also necessary.
The Automation Engineer III will extract data from various documentation types such as P&IDs and SOPs to support project execution, write design documents including FDS, DDS, test plans, and test cases, and collaborate with global software team members to ensure high-quality software delivery. They will write internal test documents and execute structural testing, provide accurate task estimates, establish and maintain detailed documentation, implement and maintain SCADA/MES applications according to design documents, assist in acquiring information for architecture specs and requirements, and participate in the overall software development lifecycle.
