Position Overview

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Content SDET Engineer 3 to join the Falcon Exposure Management team. This role focuses on developing and testing content development features and the release platform, which supports multiple teams in delivering valuable information to customers. You will be instrumental in building and testing systems to maintain top-tier quality, ensuring the validation of CMS acquiring processes, content data, system features, and integrations between multiple systems. The role involves raising alerts for failures, running automated tests on schedules, and supporting various content data sets for validation.

About the Platform: CrowdStrike Falcon

CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product.

  • Sensor: A lightweight agent installed on client machines that monitors system activity, detects malicious behavior, provides on-box prevention, and sends remote telemetry to the Falcon cloud.
  • Cloud Component: Aggregates sensor telemetry, correlates malicious behavior across machines, and presents prioritized threat summaries to customer operations teams.

About the Product: Falcon Spotlight

Falcon Spotlight is the industry's first scanless endpoint vulnerability assessment solution. It provides real-time, zero-impact assessments of endpoint security posture, enhancing the prevention, detection, and response capabilities of the Falcon platform for stronger security and unprecedented breach protection.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, verify, deploy, and maintain automated test suites.
  • Increase automated test coverage and improve release quality and velocity.
  • Analyze product, system, and feature designs for flaws and improvements.
  • Validate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data, and applications.
  • Validate and verify customer-facing features end-to-end across the product platform.
  • Leverage new open-source solutions to build new testing tools.
  • Collaborate with members across multiple teams to brainstorm and define solutions.
  • Define, build, and maintain the Content Validation System to ensure accurate, complete, and high-quality detections and actionable information.
  • Work with industry-leading technologies such as Python, Golang, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
  • Engage in cross-team initiatives and projects.
  • Troubleshoot critical production and customer issues.
  • Contribute to existing tools, frameworks, and related solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in GoLang/Python.
  • Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing query performance.
