Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing or development with solid understanding of STLC, coding, and debugging
  • Strong knowledge of Agile processes and Scrum practices
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Proficiency in SQL or any database language for test data setup and validation
  • Hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and defect management
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar
  • Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) across application layers
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred
  • Nice to have: Experience in performance and/or security testing
  • Nice to have: Experience in refactoring and extending automation frameworks
  • Nice to have: Exposure to Appian/Powerapps or any other Business Process Management (BPM) / Workflow Automation platform

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) across UI, API, and data layers
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Apply STLC principles throughout the testing process: from requirement analysis to test closure
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Perform functional, system, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Monitor debugging process results and adjust test strategies accordingly
  • Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
  • Verify data accuracy and consistency using SQL or other database languages
  • Collaborate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews with a quality-first mindset
  • Identify defects early and provide clear documentation of issues, test results, and coverage gaps
  • Continuously explore and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide timely and accurate quality assurance metrics to stakeholders
