Requirements

4+ years of experience in software testing or development with solid understanding of STLC, coding, and debugging
Strong knowledge of Agile processes and Scrum practices
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Proficiency in SQL or any database language for test data setup and validation
Hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and defect management
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar
Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) across application layers
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control (Git)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred
Nice to have: Experience in performance and/or security testing
Nice to have: Experience in refactoring and extending automation frameworks
Nice to have: Exposure to Appian/Powerapps or any other Business Process Management (BPM) / Workflow Automation platform
Nice to have: Certifications such as Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Certified Tester

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) across UI, API, and data layers
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Apply STLC principles throughout the testing process: from requirement analysis to test closure
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Perform functional, system, regression, and exploratory testing
Monitor debugging process results and adjust test strategies accordingly
Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
Verify data accuracy and consistency using SQL or other database languages
Collaborate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews with a quality-first mindset
Identify defects early and provide clear documentation of issues, test results, and coverage gaps
Continuously explore and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Provide timely and accurate quality assurance metrics to stakeholders
