Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical engineering is a plus)
3-5 years’ experience in Facilities support, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
Experience managing capital projects for new equipment or upgrades to existing systems
Ability to assist with developing the 3-5 year Facilities plan for the Mountain Home plant
Oversee the maintenance of the electrical power distribution system for the plant
Working knowledge of roofing systems
Working knowledge of pressure vessels (boilers/steam)
Knowledge of machine safety applications, maintenance systems, industrial processes, electrical systems, electrical wiring diagrams, safety, electrical code, and safety regulations
Experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers, and servo drives
Experience in 6S and lean based systems implementation
Skills including: Data Analysis & Analytics (Applying/Overseeing), First Principles Thinking (Applying/Overseeing), Lean & Six Sigma (Applying/Overseeing), Instrumentation (Managing/Facilitating), Manufacturing Process Knowledge (Managing/Facilitating), Modeling & Simulation (Leading/Driving), Product Knowledge (Managing/Facilitating), Quality Management Systems (Managing/Facilitating), and others listed (e.g., Packaging Process, Process Automation, Project Management)

Responsibilities

Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing and utilities
Responsible for capital project budgets
Comply & provide all corporate requirements
Develop, implement programs & practices to 100% compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and Baxter regulations & practices
Assure the execution of the Facilities maintenance programs
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
Lead the zero-harm initiative at Baxter
