Responsibilities

Build quantitative models and create data-based solutions using tools like Excel, R, Python, GAMS, Stata, and VBA (e.g., data/statistical analysis, econometric analysis, interactive dashboards)
Conduct qualitative research including energy market analysis, literature reviews, document examination, and writing memos
Contribute to client deliverables such as presentations and memos with figures, quantitative results, and novel findings
Assist in preparing expert reports and presentations to support experts in legal and regulatory contexts
Collaborate effectively with team members at all levels to develop solutions
Analyze energy markets (e.g., electricity, natural gas) for financial, legal, and policy applications
Develop, maintain, and run power system models (e.g., capacity expansion, security-constrained production cost models)
Perform regulatory and policy research and summarize insights via literature reviews
Communicate research and analyses to team members and clients
Think critically about analysis results and discuss findings internally
Coauthor publications and participate in presentation teams
