Requirements

  • Experienced HR/employee relations professional
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, HR policies and relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence senior leaders, confidently managing challenging conversations
  • Proven track record in project management and using data-driven insights to shape strategies
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel for impactful presentations and data analysis
  • Proactive and self-driven with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • CIPD or relevant qualifications/certifications in HR, or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business as a trusted advisor on HR best practices and compliance with relevant legislation; provide ER and employment law expertise on all ER issues and HR policy and procedures, to ensure consistency across the firm
  • Provide expert advice and support to HR colleagues and people leaders on all employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, welfare, restructures, and TUPE-related activities
  • Manage a complex caseload from commencement to resolution, maintaining accurate records and case management systems
  • Liaise effectively with legal advisors, occupational health, and third-party hearing bodies as required to support case resolution
  • Conduct timely formal processes such as investigations, hearings, appeals; produce clear, comprehensive outcome reports and communications; keep all relevant parties and business stakeholders updated
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior members of ER and Inclusion team; review written communications, investigation reports and outcome letters where required
  • Respond proactively to internal and external events to enhance our inclusive culture
  • Participate in the identification and delivery of ER and inclusion projects/initiatives to improve the policy framework, embed knowledge within the firm and expand capability within the team
  • Partner with the Learning team to design and deliver people management training at key career lifecycle touchpoints
  • Collaborate with key partners to analyse ER and inclusion data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enable proactive decision-making
