Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 6 years of enterprise business development or account management experience, with a similar duration of experience working with strategic/corporate sponsored customers for technical products or services. A strong technical understanding of design software or related technology is essential, along with the ability to synthesize complex requirements and propose effective solutions. Proven success in negotiating large, complex proposals at the SVP or C-suite level and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience selling complex software solutions, particularly to OEMs and Semiconductor companies, is preferred, as is experience in the technology industry or selling SaaS products. The role requires availability and willingness to travel 30% to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of assigned Enterprise customers, managing onboarding, ongoing account management, and long-term retention and growth. This role involves acting as a senior owner of accounts, identifying and communicating readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to forecasted revenue. Responsibilities include building successful, long-term customer relationships, demonstrating sound business judgment, and negotiating contracts. The manager will also oversee the execution of significant or complex contracts, manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, and present professional presentations at all organizational levels.
