Job Description

Position Overview

Quince is a retail and technology company dedicated to making high-quality goods accessible at affordable prices. We challenge the notion that luxury must come with a high price tag by creating items of equal or greater quality than leading luxury brands and selling them at a significantly lower cost.

Our Story

Quince was founded on the principle that everyone should be able to afford nice things. Our mission is to curate and deliver the world's highest quality goods at the lowest possible prices, focusing on essential, well-designed products.

Our Values

  • Customer First: Customer satisfaction is our highest priority.
  • High Quality: We combine premium materials with high production standards for tangible quality.
  • Essential Design: We focus on expertly curated, high-quality essentials rather than chasing trends.
  • Always a Better Deal: Through innovation and price transparency, we aim to offer the best value to customers and factory partners.
  • Environmentally and Socially Conscious: We are committed to sustainable materials, production methods, a cleaner environment, and fair wages for factory workers.
  • Fair Factories: We partner with factories that meet global standards for workplace safety and wage fairness.

Our Team and Success

Quince is co-founded by a team with extensive experience in retail, technology, and building early-stage companies. You will collaborate with world-class talent from institutions and companies such as Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, and Nike.

We view our Manufacturing Partners as critical members of the Quince team and foster a partnership approach that includes:

  • Scouting: Identifying and building relationships with high-quality partners who align with Quince's innovative model.
  • Drafting: Assisting potential partners in understanding Quince's model and ensuring supply chain economics support radical pricing while maintaining quality and ethical standards.
  • Training Camp: Onboarding partners to the Quince model, setting mutual goals, and preparing them for execution.
  • Game Day: Executing the Manufacturer-to-Consumer (M2C) model for rapid replenishment, ensuring product availability, and managing inventory and cash flows.
  • Post-Season: Reviewing performance with partners and continuously improving the M2C model.

Role Attributes

The ideal candidate will be an innovator at heart, leveraging the following attributes:

  • Strong and Structured Problem Solver
  • Data-driven Decision Maker
  • Deep understanding of supply chain economics, particularly within various apparel categories.
