Candidates should have 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2-3 years selling into EMEA markets. A proven track record of landing net new enterprise or mid-market logos internationally and experience developing and managing channel sales programs and partners are required. Comfort with ambiguity, strategic and tactical execution skills, a deep understanding of regional nuances across key EMEA markets, and excellent communication and presentation skills with English fluency are essential. The role also requires being located within EMEA with the ability to travel regionally and to HQ, and experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, or AI/ML technologies is preferred, as is familiarity with building teams in a post-Series B startup environment and fluency in German, French, Dutch, or other major regional languages.
The EMEA Sales Director will build and execute a regional go-to-market plan for EMEA, including territory prioritization, pipeline development, and revenue targets. They will drive new business by owning the full sales cycle for strategic accounts, develop channel and reseller partnerships, and localize the sales approach, messaging, and pricing strategy. The role involves partnering with Marketing to generate demand, collaborating with RevOps and Finance to build scalable sales processes, and building and leading a high-performing EMEA sales team. Additionally, they will represent the voice of the EMEA customer internally to inform product and support teams.
