Requirements

Candidates should have 2-4 years of professional experience in email marketing, with significant exposure to and hands-on experience with SMS marketing campaigns and strategies. Deep, hands-on expertise with the Klaviyo (or similar ESP) platform is essential, including building and managing campaigns, creating and refining audience segments, developing, troubleshooting, and creating complex automated flows, and effectively leveraging analytics and reporting features. Exceptional attention to detail and meticulousness are required, along with top-notch QA skills and a commitment to error-free, on-brand communications. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with external agencies and internal cross-functional teams are also necessary. Prior Klaviyo experience and familiarity with the Basecamp project management system and DTC e-commerce environment are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Email & SMS Coordinator will partner effectively with an external lifecycle agency to develop and execute sophisticated email and SMS campaigns, drafting clear briefs, submitting requests, and ensuring correct implementation. They will serve as the primary quality assurance checkpoint, meticulously reviewing content, links, personalization, and targeting logic to guarantee flawless execution and uphold brand standards. The role involves managing and maintaining the campaign calendar, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the seamless execution and continuous improvement of customer communication programs.
