Candidates must have at least 3 years of industry experience designing and building electromechanical systems for real-world applications. Proficiency in electromechanical system design and analysis, electrical instrumentation, mechanical design, and CAD is required. Hands-on experience in prototyping, fabrication, and assembly, along with skills in component sourcing and light coding, is essential.
The Electromechanical Engineer will design and iterate on machines, subsystems, test fixtures, inspection tools, and sensors. They will lead system integration efforts, testing, and cross-team coordination. Developing electrical designs, executing mechanical design, rapidly prototyping, and testing new designs are key duties. Additionally, they will source and select components while balancing cost, reliability, and performance, and write light software and firmware to support system operation.
