Flock Safety- Full Time
- Junior (1 to 2 years)
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience owning and delivering complex electrical engineering designs, with a minimum of 5 years leading and delivering complex projects that encompass computing, electrical systems, sensors, power, mechanical, and firmware. Strong fundamental electrical engineering skills across analog and digital domains, PCB design, and simulation tools are required. Familiarity with firmware development and the ability to independently bring-up and debug code is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with a passion for learning and working independently in high-ambiguity environments.
The Electrical Engineer will own and drive the development of the electrical architecture, design, prototyping, and development of hardware systems, including MCU/SOC/FPGA, battery, sensing, RF, and audio. They will contribute to hardware process and tool flow definition, engage with hardware vendors, and serve as a domain expert in areas such as audio, DSP, battery, RF, or sensing. Responsibilities also include defining hardware roadmaps, architectures, trade-offs, specifications, development plans, and evaluation methods for wearable electronics. The role involves hands-on PCBA design and bring-up, including component selection, schematic, layout, assembly, testing, debugging, and integration into larger systems. Collaboration with mechanical, firmware, software, UX, and machine learning partners to define, evaluate, and optimize hardware systems is also required, along with identifying, evaluating, engaging, and driving partners and vendors to accelerate hardware development.
Telehealth platform connecting patients with doctors
Sesame Care connects patients with doctors and specialists through a telehealth platform, primarily serving clients in various states across the U.S. The platform allows patients to book online appointments for services like urgent care, prescription refills, dermatology, mental health, and general doctor visits. By enabling independent clinicians to use its platform, Sesame Care reduces overhead costs and offers competitive pricing, often lower than traditional healthcare providers. Additionally, Sesame partners with Quest Diagnostics to provide affordable lab services, creating a comprehensive healthcare solution. The company operates on a direct-pay model, where patients pay for services upfront, ensuring transparency and prompt payments for healthcare providers. Sesame Care's goal is to make healthcare more affordable and accessible, simplifying the process for patients to receive quality care.
