Candidates should possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience. They should have a proven track record of working with a large fleet of connected devices, demonstrating a strong understanding of the device lifecycle and associated challenges. Experience with MCU firmware development, both bare-metal and utilizing RTOS-based environments, is required, as well as familiarity with device bring-up processes.
As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality MCU firmware for existing and next-generation platforms, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure deliverables meet established standards. This includes developing customizations in drivers and participating in cross-functional efforts to deliver quality software and firmware, ultimately supporting Flock Safety’s mission of reducing crime.
