Requirements
Candidates must have an Associate’s degree in Drafting/Design, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a similar field. They should possess at least 5 years of relevant drafting experience and demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD. Possible field investigations and construction observations may be required.
Responsibilities
The Electrical Drafter will complete detailed design drawings for electrical distribution and control systems. They will create electrical drawings for site construction activities, review vendor submittals and equipment reference drawings, and check drawings for accuracy and format. Additionally, they will attend project and group meetings and interface with other design teams such as Civil/Structural, Piping, Stress Analysis, Mechanical, and Machinery.
