A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is required. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a Professional Engineering Environment. Proven ability to take a concept from a minimal sketch to a realized system is essential. Experience with motion control systems and/or LV power systems is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Familiarity with Simulink or a strong willingness to learn is necessary. Experience working on Power Distribution systems in a Cleared Space or Marine environment is a bonus.
The Electrical Design Engineer will design electrical power systems for military, marine, and power distribution industries. They will take ownership of assigned projects, track deliverables, develop schedules, and manage spending. Additionally, they will work with external vendors, developing specifications, managing progress, and reviewing deliverables, both hardware and written documentation.
